Look Out, Baddies, YouTube Neighborhood Watch Has Its Eye on You

Good work
Hello -
I came across your website today and as a bar manager I want to thank you for your efforts. We're fortunate enough not
to have any of these kind of places in our neighborhood but no matter where they are, it gives us all a bad name. I work
hard to make sure our customers are having a good time, while still making sure that we're being respectful of the neighborhood --
and general standards of decency and taste. It sickens me that places like this are able to stay open. Every time something
tragic happens, the fallout and tightened standards affect the entire industry, not just the problem establishments. I'm
glad to see another one bite the dust and I hope your work has made the city a little more receptive to neighborhood action.

!t is closed, true? Congratulations
Hello,
Congratulations to obtain the closing of this club. I saw the videos in youtube (incredible!) and then I visited
your Web. Seems to me incredible everything what you have made to desmostrate that a club
as this cannot exist, not in an inhabited zone. I am young and I like to go outside and I like to party, but I understand
that to request respect first it is necessary to respect others.
It is incredible everything what you have done, seriously!! In this
world there are many things to change, and people cannot be quiet in
their house. CONGRATULATIONS!

Congratulations on closing down that dump Chromium. I have always heard bad things about that club,
if they acted like animals outside imagine behind closed doors. As for me I enjoy the nightlife frequently, but I avoid places
that are not diverse, nightclubs that have a diverse crowd in them, ie. black, white, hispanic, asian, gay, tend to be a
little more in control of what goes on either by the staff or the patrons themselves. But in all true honesty where there is
liquor there is a possibility for problems, especially if the owners/security and staff are not doing there part to eject
trouble makers and over people who have been over served. Well I am really glad that you were pro-active and took the initiative
to close down places were irresponsible in their actions and did not care about he well being of the neighborhood and people in general.
People should not have to deal with idiots like these when they go out for some R & R.

Hello Charlie,
(Chase? Edwards? Walker? ...don't know which of several last names you're using this week)
I like to be on a first name basis with people who put out a 6-page glossy brochure,
slandering my name and threatening to kill me.
Truth is...I have NO idea who you are.
We've never written, spoken or met.
Assume, from the brochure, you're one of Chromium's promoters.
You're talking like you own Chromium, but we know it's not true.
Chromium is owned and run by brothers Tony and Dino Perez and their father, Raul Perez. Since Tony already had a liquor license revoked
for the Tequila Nightclub, he was ineligible for another Chicago liquor license or the position of nightclub manager. This is why the "business"
and licenses are in his wife's name, Jehad Shehade, and the building is in Raul's name.
The Chicago's liquor license Ordinance states a licence can not be held by the partner of someone who's ineligible for a license.
Chromium knew they'd expired all their stalling options, and with expanded Drug & Gang House charges registered this past May,
the end was inevitable. Community residents and local business owners reported the problems that were happening OUTSIDE the club,
because they affect our neighborhood. We never had anything to say about how the club operated or what went on past the front doors
...it's not our concern. (even though we received LOTS of naughty info)
ALL of Chromium's problems are self-made. Any doofus could've figured out that all they ever had to do, was control what
happened in the streets. Instead, Chromium threatened, intimidated and bribed. That just pissed us off. And by NOT dealing with the
neighborhood problems, they brought the City's attention INSIDE the club. Chromium is completely responsible for their own demise.
Anything you hear otherwise...is an excuse to hide their failures.
I'm gonna guess you put some money into Chromium, and Tony didn't tell you they were about to close. For your sake darlin' hope
you didn't buy into the Miami club. Too bad you didn't check with me...couldov told you what's REALLY going on.
let me put this in words you should understand...
If your havin club problems I feel bad for you son
but don't blame em on me cause Tony got you outdone
makin deals with the devil, you've no one to blame
when you thought you could buy your way into his game
Tony knew they were closing 'fore he took all your cash
and to say it's my fault is just talkin some trash
If your havin club problems I feel bad for you son
but don't blame em on me cause Tony got you outdone
Editor
BTW...I did receive a letter from a
Chromium promoter, Corey Rice,
and responded to his email.
EDITOR'S FOLLOW-UP NOTE:
At the time I wrote the above response to Corey Rice, I DIDN'T know he was responsible for
"producing the party at Chromium the
night of Omari Houston's death", as reported on 12-21-07, by Sun-Times Reporter, Cheryl Jackson. Jackson also quoted Corey as
saying "Violence is going to go wherever it wants to go." I would argue that violence
is going to go whever we LET it go... if we don't make an effort to STOP it.
Corey Rice's name and contact information were listed on
Page 5 of Charlie Chase's brochure, linked above.
Curiously, Charlie Chase did NOT include his own contact information anywhere on his brochure.
Not to worry...the Chicago Police WERE able to locate Charlie for questioning after this Editor filed a Police Report against him.
Charlie has since moved on to promote events at another local club, where he's often seen flanked by his zealous attorneys, eager to corroborate
Charlie has been blacklisted in spite of being such an upstanding citizen and all-around nice guy.

Kathy,
It is with great joy to learn of the final closing of Chromium Night Club! For years it has been obvious that these
people have no concern for neither the neighborhood nor the individuals who make up the West Loop.
But thanks in part to your efforts, the nightmare of this saga will finally come to a close. I guess we can look at
this as an early Christmas present! Now, our local Police Officers can spread their resources around the entire district,
and not have to dwell on this particular entity.
It seems like yesterday that we joined forces to block not once, but twice Chromium's efforts to extend their liquor
license to 4am.
As you well know, the drama regarding this establishment has been past ridiculous, and just downright alarming.
We employed off-duty law enforcement personnel to the sum of over $50,000.00 since the problems with this club began,
and spent several thousands more in legal bills to successfully fight their attempts to secure a 4am liquor license.
Like you, I personally do not have anything against a properly operated entertainment establishment, but when you
have to spend your money to protect yourself while that entity does as it sees fit, something has to be done.
The bigger insult is when that establishment has to utilize our Police resources just to stay open, something you,
I, or any of the other businesses in the West Loop require.
To those who are not aware of the long-running situation with this particular venue, I always found it tough to
accept the idea of using Police Department and City of Chicago resources to ensure the safety of patrons and local
residents just so a business establishment can stay in operation.
While we look forward to new development and the continued diversity of our neighborhood, I hope the saga regarding
Chromium serves notice to any venture wishing to do business here that not only will someone be watching them, but the
residents, business owners and operators, and property owners will take action if such venues do not run their business
in proper fashion.
And my heartfelt thanks goes out to you personally, as your Herculean efforts definitely proved to be the uniting
force behind the successful efforts in closing Chromium down.
Though you may be dubbed the “Video Vigilante”, I think you have earned a more honorable title, more like the
“Mayor of Lake and Halsted”.

Bravo
I am utterly inspired by your victory over the Chromium... your three year long protest has worked.
In a city where cash is king, you proved that having some sense of civic pride and responsibility can still prevail over those who
take advantage of the little guy. This type of internet-guerrilla-protest is really original and I think you could be on the cusp
of a new way of standing up. I think people of my generation (21 y/o) are looking for a way to have their voices heard, and I think
you are definitely onto something.
I commend you for being a great Chicagoan, and a great American.
You played the game much better than they did, and you won. Congratulations.

Wow,
I just found your website today and I am truly speechless. To think that you've been putting up with this for a number
of years is outrageous. This is completely unacceptable. Even with police presence, the problem is not resolved.
I was especially taken back by the gunfire. I would be afraid for my life
I don't understand why this is allowed to continue like this. I wish you luck with your crusade. Please stay safe.

Congratulations,
I just want to say congratulations to all you guys for being
diligent and solving a huge community problem. I just became aware of this in the past
few months and was saddened by the news story about the death
of the young man. When I immediately looked at the first videos of your website I automatically said "gangbangers, drug
dealers, thugs, money." And---That's all she wrote!
Sad what society has come to these days but then again, I guess its no different from when the city and politicians were
practically run by the mob back in the day. Its just a new kind of mob today who are not as polished and "glamorized" as
the Mafia always has been (and still is --look at the Sopranos). I really feel for what you and your neighbors have had
to go through in the past few years and I cannot imagine the horrors you have had to witness or hear at night on the
weekend I can only sympathize and empathize with what you have had to go through.
One reason why I am so touched by your dedication to this is because if more people like you were out here and not afraid
to change wrongdoing, our society would not be in the condition it is in today. Never would I have thought that there
would be a day when kids, gangs and thugs would be practically running the streets. In my neighborhood at night, in
certain pockets, it looks like Lake Street at night, and this is just commonplace to the neighbors and not much is done
about it. I live on the Southside of the city, but would this be allowed in Orland Park, or Palos Hills, or the North
Shore? Most certainly not.
Chicago is a political city, run by favoritism, nepotism, and payola. It is a sad statement but only when these things
spill out into everyone's lives, as it did yours and your neighbors, are these factors exposed for the monsters that
they are. These things allow criminals to roam freely, allow the unscrupulous to dictate how we should live, and
jeopardize the safety and well being of most honest citizens who just want to live a safe and peaceful existence. The
fact that money, politics and bureaucracy have their hands in almost everything that affects our lives and wellbeing today,
helps you to understand why the problems still and will persist in neighborhoods like mine, where the lawns are neatly
manicured and the homes are well kempt but a life is lost almost every other month due to drug and gang violence.
And--I wont even get into the issue of drugs since for the first time in my life a few years back (I'm so naive) I was
made aware and informed by CAPS (that the sole purpose of a gang is to manufacture and distribute drugs). (I guess I was
still stuck in West Side Story). And CAPS, well I have a different opinion than you do regarding CAPS regarding how
they deal with problems in my neighborhood but there are reasons for this.
But to walk through your neighborhood everyday, and know that these problems could be solved or even eliminated "if"
the bureaucrats and politicians wanted them to be, and that it is in the best interest of their pockets to allow this
chaos to affect and consume everyone's lives, (it still boils down to money, power and possession)---- well it is truly
sad and depressing-----and a life, well it means nothing to them. We all know what a human life means to a gang banger--
nothing, unless its one of their own. But in comparison, between the bureaucrats and the gangbangers - even though one's
dressed up, drawing a salary, wearing a suit and tie and the other ones are wearing hoodies or bandanas--are their
mentalities any different when it comes to money, power and maintaining their lifestyles???--well I wonder.
I will be moving inevitably, but it does not help solve the problem or give me a clue as to how to begin to advocate
for change. There are far too many youths dying, innocent people caught in crossfire, too much school violence (and
most dont know but there are legal mandates in place in school safety manuals that have certain policy on providing
a safe environment both to and from school for a certain surrounding distance of the school --Not to mention a fantastic
group in place within the school board called Youth Outreach {whom I had to call to battle gangbangers} who come out to
the neighborhoods and patrol the school grounds--that seems to be a "public secret").
But in ending, we all have to be "realistic" and realize too that people are scared.
They live in fear. Its not like
how I grew up in the sixties where people tolerated less and fought harder for more. You don't know who's the good
guys or who's the bad guys anymore and when you scream loud you don't want being shot in the back to be your last scream.
So people hide behind their blinds and also unfortunately, many parents today, their kids are part of the problem, so
they are part of the problem, and they can report nothing, until their Little Johnny becomes a victim of gang violence
or any other kind of violence. Then its too late. No one wants to challenge the problem before the trigger is pulled
and it is a social and societal problem. Violence has become a viral epidemic.
I'm sorry to bend your ear but I am just so proud of you guys because you accomplished something.
Little does anyone know,
neither will they even equate it to this, but Chromium stands for far more than a niteclub being closed down. It stands
for the blatant lack of respect for the law and decent law abiding citizens, it stands for how desensitized we as a society
have become to violence, it stands for social problems allowed to persist when you are not included in the scheme of "the
powers that be," it stands for what money can buy and how destructive its power can be in the wrong hands, including being
able to buy, sell and trade lives, and last but not least, now it stands for HEROES like you who stood up for what was right,
saw wrongdoing abundant, and did something about it. THANKS, I APPLAUD YOU!

City revokes Chromium's licenses
Nightclub to close in December
By HAYLEY GRAHAM, Editor

TRICK ?

CHROMIUM NITECLUB FORFEITS LIQUOR LICENSE!
|
At the 10/29 Hearing with Chicago's Department of Business Affairs & Licensing, the Chromium
Niteclub agreed to forfeit all their business licenses, but will be allowed to remain OPEN and operational
till December 3rd. (NO, that last part WASN'T a typo)
We consider this a guarded VICTORY for the entire West Loop neighborhood.
Considering that Chromium's
management has done virtually nothing to alleviate the problems and violence for the past few years,
we can only predict they'll have absolutely NO incentive to play nice till the 12/3 closing.
And we can all imagine what will occur this next month.
We're told Chromium is being allowed to remain open for the additional 35 days "to honor some promotional
and entertainment contracts". Hmm...we certainly wouldn't want Chromium to lose any money,
would we? I suppose we should be glad for another other reason, as well. We're glad other
City Departments don't operate with the same philosophy.
Just imagine if thieves, murders and rapists admitted guilt in court, then were allowed their
freedom for 35 days because they "had some pending plans..."
Gosh, golly, makes perfect sense to me.

Dear Editor,
I've been recently following your struggle to shut down Chromium Nightclub and reduce the problems of neighboring clubs.
Congratulations as Channel 7 just reported on Friday 10/26/2007 that the license is being FINALLY revoked! However,
with the deal they cut with the City, they will remain open until December 3rd, I believe to honor promotions and bookings already set.
I see now there was more mob chaos this past Saturday, following their report. This was leading to Halloween when most people
celebrate over the weekend. Scary indeed. Luckily, there was not another shooting! I am praying nothing else serious happens to
an innocent person before they officially close.
We want to commend you in your efforts. My hats off to you when you can also dedicate so much time in developing a website
for addressing the complaints while still keeping a sense of humor. I love the retro graphics, sound bites, and campy ads!
I have property in Wicker Park where I have to fight off many problems including graffiti, trash, urination, drug use, threats,
etc, but nowhere near what you have had to deal with. I thought I had problems. But please know that I share your concerns and pain.
It has helped me in knowing that I am not the only one fighting a similar situation. Of course, I don't wish it on my worse enemy.
Furthermore, I appreciate the fact that you make it clear that you are not anti-club or bar. I have had problems with some very
small neighborhood groups formed in Wrigleyville and Wicker Park where mostly housewives with children have campaigned the City
and local Aldermen against the most minor things from established bars and clubs in those neighborhoods. They knew that those
entertainment districts were there long before they moved right next-door and started to complain about the noise. What do they expect?
And if you are going to raise a child, do it away from these districts. Even the best operators attempting to baby-sit and police
the customers, are going to have an incident beyond their control every once in awhile. Now we are not talking about Chromium and
the absolutely best textbook example of how not to run a bar or club. You were certainly in your right and you were there as a resident
long before they converted the old warehouse.
But, I am also concerned for the good operators in the West Loop/ Randolph/Fulton area who do a good job operating their businesses
in a professional manner and have certainly helped to develop the area. This includes the clubs, lounges, bars, and modern restaurants
with liquor licenses. I am also very concerned about Chromium's bad apple example, like E2, where they ruin it for all operators across
the City and make things more difficult. I just want readers to realize that there are many good venues that provide entertainment in a
safe environment and also contribute highly to the community and local charities and causes. These are people who have poured their
life savings and soul into their ventures and dreams. The good guys face so much every day that the public has no idea of, just to
maintain their businesses without the crap caused by the likes of the Chromium owners and operators. They are a disgrace to the
industry with no sense of ethics whatsoever. It is these bad apples that typecast the good operators in the most negative way.
I say this because I also have another work/live property a few blocks from you and I am one of your neighbors.
Also, I am an owner as well as a clean-up guy (consultant- I hate using that word) for nightclubs, bars, and restaurants. I am one of
the moderators for Nightclub & Bar Magazine's Discussion Forum for those in the industry. I would like to link those readers/members
to your site and the CH7 news clips. I want it to be an example of How Not To Run A Nightclub Or Bar and
show how a community and residents respond.
Is this ok with you? If there is anything I can do to assist you in any future efforts, please let me know.
I do have 3 lingering questions:
1) Are you saying Shadows Club is not connected to Chromium? Why in the world would they use or keep the same tacky
steel facade entrance as Chromium? Many thought they were the same owners or close associates. I would definitely change that if I owned Shadows!
EDITOR: Yes, SHADOW BAR (formerly REUNION) and the CHROMIUM NITECLUB
are located next to each other, but are 2 separate clubs with different owners. The same metal facade does confuse the issue...not sure
why both clubs chose it.
2) Aren't you worried (and perhaps the City and Shadow as well) that that crowd will
still be there for the most part shifting over to Shadows?
EDITOR: We've discussed this with the owner and management of SHADOW BAR,
who's aware of the possibility and seem intent on NOT repeating CHROMIUM'S problems. In a proactive maneuver, 12th District Commander,
Ron Sodini, has already met with SHADOW BAR'S owner and City of Chicago Attorneys to reach an agreement about strict operating policies. Time, of course,
will tell. SHADOW BAR has also been put on notice by the community that we will continue our vigil and report on potential problems.
However, UNlike CHROMIUM'S management, SHADOW BAR'S management does have an open dialogue with their neighbors.
3) If another nightclub or bar were to attempt to go into that spot to clean it
up after a complete name change and makeover and run it
more professionally or upscale, would you and the very local neighbors immediately object? I have no intentions and doubt anyone would
want to touch it, but I am curious of your position for future bars and clubs in the area.
EDITOR: After years of contending with CHROMIUM, and learning how
difficult it is to revoke a liquor license, my neighbors and I will be more discerning of potential new liquor license applications.
None of us have voiced the opinion that we will unilaterally object to new businesses. Fortunately, our diligence will also be an
asset to responsible licensees, who do not want an establishment, similar to CHROMIUM, interfering with their business.
It's too early to comment on Chromium's exact location, since we're not all convinced the final outcome will play out as we've been told.
Have there been any similar problems with Reserve beyond the stories in the Chicago Tribune?
EDITOR: Since RESERVE is located a block west, I don't have the same
vantage point as with both SHADOW and CHROMIUM. RESERVE appears to be operating responsibly, since we don't hear many complaints from the locals.
Residents of the Lake Street Lofts, located directly across the street from RESERVE, would be a better barometer of any issues
Unfortunately, the nightly garbage trail seems to connect all the clubs.
What happened to Estate down the street?
EDITOR: I was in communication with the management of ESTATE via email,
just after they closed, and it appears it was shut down due to liquor license violations.
Michael, thank you for taking the time to write, and please feel free to link this site to yours. I'm also glad you pointed out that we're
NOT anti-nightclub or bar. CHROMIUM is indeed an extreme example of an irresponsible business owner, and one from which we can all learn.
In several conversations with neighbors and City Officials, we've already heard the phrase "We don't want another Chromium".
Thank You!

Nightclub gives in on license fight

10-29-07
The Chromium Niteclub had a hearing at the DBA regarding 2 pending liquor license violations.
Following is the DBA's PRESS RELEASE from that same day:
Contact: Rosa Escareno/DBA (312) 744-5496
CHROMIUM NIGHTCLUB OWNER AGREES TO LICENSE REVOCATION
The City's Department of Business Affairs and Licensing (DBA) today announced a license
revocation for Chromium Nightclub's Public Place of Amusement License, Tavern License, Retail Food and Tobacco License.
This voluntary revocation came after two years of ongoing intervention by the DBA.
“We are pleased with today's settlement because it will rid the neighborhood of a problem liquor establishment that negatively
affected the community, saves the city the expense of protracted litigation while providing the opportunity for a responsible
business to operate in the future,” Said Scott V. Bruner, DBA Director and Local Liquor Control Commissioner.
After several community meetings hosted by DBA in which the licensee was given the opportunity to work with the community
to address the negative quality of life issues, DBA initiated legal proceedings against Chromium's licenses several months ago.
“Due process requires that a licensee be given a hearing on a violation before the city can revoke a liquor license. Unfortunately,
this process can be quite lengthy which adds to the frustration of local residents,” added Bruner.
Today's settlement is a culmination of these proceedings and one that will significantly address the quality of life issues
affecting the surrounding community. Under the terms of the agreement, this license owner is prohibited from operating a
liquor establishment in the City of Chicago and will cease operation of the business on December 3, 2007.

10-22-07 Update:
the Chromium Niteclub had ANOTHER DBA hearing regarding TWO license violations....well,
that's what was SUPPOSED TO HAPPEN.
What actually DID happen???
THEY GOT ANOTHER CONTINUANCE!!!!
A new hearing date has NOT been set, but there is a STATUS date on 10/29.
On that day, either ANOTHER Hearing date will be set OR Chromium will "reach an agreement in settlement negotiations".

Isn’t it time to stop the madness and revoke this license.
I worked in this industry for 20 years. Never have I seen 1 establishment be allowed to continue,
while racking up this many violations. Legal games need to stop, just get the job done.
This club is giving everyone a bad name in the industry. Take away the license.

Dear Kathy,
Thank you so much for presenting the cover story on Omari Houston. He was my older brother and will be greatly missed.
This is a very positive website that you have. I still can't believe that he is gone.
I noticed how the police responded very slowly. There were so many police officers around, that this sort of tragedy
should never have happened. I don't understand why the killer hasn't been found yet.
My family would really like to say thanks for everything you are doing
Thank you.
Jamila Houston
EDITOR'S NOTE:
Hello Jamila,
I'm so sorry for the loss of your brothers. I will never let my neighborhood forget his name and his story.
I know you must miss him. I had a brother who was Omari's age when he died in an accident (along with his wife) and can understand what
you and you family are going through. It's hard to loose someone unexpectedly, especially when they're so young...
In your letter, it seems you're concerned the police responded slowly, but I have some first hand information on this, which I hope will ease your mind.
At 3:10 AM on 8/19, I was standing in the middle of the street, in front of Chromium, when we heard the gunshots! My video
camera was set on remote, so I'm actually in the video, in the distance. It's too noisy to sleep when the clubs are open,
so I'd gone outside to give copies of some videos to a Police Officer who was on duty. He wanted to use them for Chicago's
Drug & Gang House Ordinance complaint against Chromium. When we heard the gunshots, everyone was screaming and I didn't
know where to go. The gunshots came from the direction of my building so I was afraid to run inside.
I know there's a lot in the news lately about the CPD, but the Commander in the 12th District runs a tight ship and he
puts his BEST guys on duty here every weekend night. Besides squad cars driving around the neighborhood, there were 4
officers on foot by Chromium, 2 more south of Lake on Green (by Randolph) and 2 more north of Lake by (Fulton). These cops
didn't hesitate for a second! They didn't even look around for backup. They started running towards the gunshots as soon
as we heard them!
I could only put a short version of my video on the website, but it seemed like every cop in the city was there within minutes.
The ambulance came right away too. The cops started combing the entire area, looking for the shooters. Believe me, they didn't
spare anyone! Much later, even after it started pouring rain, the cops still stood in the street, securing the scene.
I got a call from the police right away that morning, since they know I've been making videos. It was still dark outside.
The Area 4 homicide detectives came right over for the tapes. I also know for sure they had a lot of detectives working on
this. I called the Area 4 Detectives at least a dozen times to follow up and find out if the shooter had been caught. I spoke
to 5 or 6 different detectives. Whenever I phoned, every detective knew the case right away when I mentioned your brother's
name. I was glad to know they were all on top of things and knew what was going on. When I asked for your brother's age, the
detective had the file right in front of him since he'd been working on it.
It has to be very frustrating, knowing the shooter has not yet been caught. But you and your family should know that your
brother's death was NOT pushed to the side and there were and STILL ARE a lot of people working on his case. I know you
might not believe all of this if someone else told you, but I know it all to be the truth. I hope, for you and your family's
peace of mind, that the shooter will be caught and brought to justice.

I have just viewed you very impressive Lake and Halsted.com site.
Regrettably you are not alone. We here in my suburb have one or two Night Clubs with similar problems.
Do you know if there is a collation of citizens opposed to law breaking Night Clubs? If not then there should be
such an organization. Very often when these clubs are closed down at a local level they have attorneys that then
take it up a level to the state and put a fix in so the club remains open. A collation of citizens could track and
file a counter suits.
Sincerely,
Tony
EDITOR'S NOTE:
Don't know if there's a site that tracks nightclub problems...but it sounds like something
that would be helpful. Chromium's owner, Jehaad Shehade, had the liquor license in her name because her husband, Tony Perez,
already had a Chicago liquor license revoked for the Tequila Nightclub, formerly on Milwaukee Ave. TONY HAS BEEN IN THE PROCESS
OF OPENING ANOTHER NIGHTCLUB IN FLORIDA...I'M SURE THEY'D LIKE TO KNOW WHAT'S COMING THEIR WAY!

Dear editor
Now that Chuck Goodie has done the feature on channel 7 regarding the horror we experience every weekend,
can we expect to finally get rid of Chromium?
Can we even think we may sleep this Saturday night? Or will we be dodging bullets for another few years.
Please keep us posted.
Thank you

I believe the club should be closed. That was my cousin that got killed on 8/19/07.
Something needs to be done. I just can't believe that the club is still open after all the things that go on outside after the club is closed.
Now that someone has gotten killed it should be closed and needs to be. I just am so angry with all this violence in
Chicago. There needs to be more people like you in every community. I really enjoyed the segment that they had on channel
7 last night. It indeed enlightened me.

Hey guys,
I believe the Police have powers with regards to issuing a Business License.
The Police Department can refuse to ok...a license.
Take a look at this video clip that aired last night. I believe u know about this issue. The videos will now go all over the
world and can impact the Olympic Bid. Not good.

EDITOR'S NOTE:
We were told the local Commander can give their opinion on the matter, but it's inevitably up to the Alderman
to make the final decision. Chromium's liquor license was initially issued while another Commander was at the 12th District,
and he OPPOSED the license. Our current Commander, Ron Sodini, went on record to oppose a late night liquor license,
which thankfully was never granted.

Good 4 U
Saw the Goudie story on the ch7 news last night.
I live in East Garfield Park. We are overrun with gang/drug activity and the 11th district cannot get it under control.
It took me 9 years to get the City to require a privately owned section 8 building put up a fence and camera on a subsidized
project where there are lots of gang/drug activity. For years I was told it could not be done...until I handed a letter direct
to Mayor Daley. Then holes were dug within 3 days on a sunday (although it took a year to build 1 length of fence)
Yes, the system is broke here. There are no proactive stances, only reactive...and our neighborhoods' reactive...means lots
of union wages are spent to chase tail and not produce any results in a timely fashion.
The only thing that counts is the outcome. There are many city departments, and oodles of city employees who are sympathetic.
But, fast results are what is imperative.
If you spend time dealing with the red tape of the bureaucrats...it will take you years to get anything done. It is sad.
That is why the demographics that we loose about 1.2% of our population annually...for 30 years...means we lost close to
1mil in population.
Nobody wants to live in a city that is dangerous, dirty, and schools are bad. That is why the burbs have had such a
population burst...and NO reverse white flight is not producing a net population gain.
The best thing is to go to the Feds...that means Patrick Fitzgerald and your Congressman.
Get a homeland security camera. It is the new one announced a couple weeks ago made by IBM. It can detect a gunshot
before the bullet leaves the chamber.
Contact Tony Ruiz. He is in charge of 911. He can start the process of getting a city camera. He is a guy who is very
interested in having cameras improve desperate situations. Yours is one for sure and the "survey" should show enough
crime to justify a camera at this location. Toss Tony a note.

Keep up the good fight!
I saw the news tonight and I was moved to write to you. Although, I live in relative peacefulness in the suburbs,
I do work daily in the Loop, have many friends who reside in Chicago and I wanted you to know that your story about
your struggles that you and many of your neighbors face daily can no longer be ignored.
Chromium Nightclub obviously only follows the money and they have no desire to stop the violence. I am sure if there were
investigations into the ownership of this club would only turn up ignorant, un-comprehensible sociopaths. Their Karma
that they are garnering will be monumental!
I am appalled that your aldermen do not step forward. I am appalled that Mayor Daley does not use his much documented
"who cares" attitude and shut this despicable club down!
I want you to know I am probably one of many suburbanites that care that you and your neighbors are safe. I want you to
know that you have more support than you may realize.
I wish you luck and God Speed throughout your mission and thank you for having the courage to stand up for what is right.
It is because of people like yourself that make this country strong and unbending. Do not give up!

STATEMENT BY CHICAGO POLICE COMMANDER RONALD SODINI (012) IN RESPONSE TO LAKE STREET NIGHTCLUBS:
The 12th Police District is committed to mitigating the negative activity surrounding Lake Street nightclubs.
Currently, two separate legal actions by the City are pending against the Chromium nightclub with the potential
for license revocation and fines. As those actions are litigated, the 12th District continues its Lake Street police
detail to mitigate negative Lake Street activity. Since 2006, the 12th District has effected sixty-five arrests in
the evening in the vicinity of the Lake Street nightclubs.
Community involvement is a cornerstone of our Department's CAPS policing philosophy. Ms. Kathy Kozan's steadfast
involvement is commended. In particular, she has been instrumental in documenting the disorder and criminal
activity emanating from the nightclubs on Lake Street.

Dear Editor,
Last night, or should say this morning from 1AM-5AM, the noise levels from the Chromium patrons was off the scale!
I have relatives staying with me and we were all up the whole entire time witnessing the crowds lingering in the streets,
driving the wrong way on the street, sitting in their cars still drinking, screaming, fighting, yelling and being
obnoxious beyond belief.
This place is out of control and someone needs to finally close this nightclub that promotes bringing these problems
into this neighborhood every single weekend.
I have had it and will contact whoever I need to help shut down this building from hell.

Chromium destroyed the neighborhood!
To whom it may concern:
The Chromium Nightclub has changed our neighborhood for the worse.
I have lived in the West Loop since 1994 and have personally watched the negative effects that
Chromium Nightclub has caused.
Here's my primary list:
1) Dangerous patrons
2) Many drunk drivers
3) Dangerously poor traffic safety
4) Driving the wrong way on Randolph
5) NEVER stopping for stop signs
6) Fighting with their cars
7) Fear of gun fights
8) Regular police action
9) Murder recently on Lake Street
Forget the loud noise, neighborhood litter, and congestion. That would be acceptable
if that were the extent of the problems.
Now ADD gang fights, drug dealing, bottle throwing, danger on the sidewalks while walking
from cars driving on the sidewalks, fear of gun shots AND gun fights...
I was prepared to go to the neighborhood hearings but they kept moving them around.
Close this place down before more die!

dear lakestreetlookout
Q:
I have been watching your videos about people fighting.
I would like to give u props for uploading all these videos. U r doing a great job.
Can u tell me why all these ppl are fighting. for what reason? why r so many fights breaking out?
A:
WHY all the fighting?...not an easy question to answer. Some of the fights are gang related.
When there are large crowds, there also needs to be a lot more supervision and crowd management by nightclub personnel.
It also has something to do with who the promoters are bringing into the clubs, whether there's a dress code,
whether people who are already drunk are turned away...there's a lot of factors.
Q:
Is this still happening as we speak?
A:
It happens less since the Chicago Police are on duty.
Q:
Is the club shut down now?
A:
There are two clubs next to each other. As of today, both clubs are still open.
Q:
I think u r doing a excellent job.
please, send ur videos to CNN and have them nationalize this all over the world.
did they find the killer who shot that 28 year old man? is he in jail now?

sought by the Chicago Police.

Hello,
I live in the Wrigleyville area and was wondering if the Deleterious Impact Ordinance
that passed in March/April 2007 would make it easier to state your case in regards to the quality of life. It almost seems
like the City has made it easier to revoke/suspend a single liquor establishment by just signing a petition.
We are having problems with one particular bar and was wondering what your thoughts were on this new ordinance.
I would like to keep my name anonymous please.
Thank You for your time.
EDITOR'S NOTE:
Dear Wrigleyville,
We feel the new Deleterious Impact Ordinance is a GREAT thing! But "...revoke/suspend a single
liquor establishment by just signing a petition"...NEVA gonna happen...so PLEASE don't get
your hopes up thinking it will! It's going to take a LOT more work than THAT. You and your neighbors
will likely have to attend one or more DBA meetings, sit across the table from the bar owners and
start a dialogue.
In all fairness...the bar/club needs to be given the opportunity to clean up their act and address
the problems. The sooner you and you neighbors start registering complaints, the sooner you'll get
the issues before the DBA and begin to try and work it out. Revoking the license is the last resort,
only AFTER the bar/club has shown they're NOT interested in accommodating their neighbors.
With this new ordinance, I'm hoping the DBA will get more aggressive when complaints are first registered,
and NOT put more of a burden on the neighborhood residents by expecting them to sit through wrist-slapping
meetings with irresponsible bar owners.
Check out the link to the DBA website on the
TAKE ACTION! page
BEST of LUCK!!!

I'm in HELL!
Dear Editor,
I moved into the West Loop a few months ago and have not had a good nights sleep since. Forget about feeling safe, you have to watch
for stray bullets. I can't believe what goes on in the neighborhood of Lake, Halsted & Fulton. Forget about getting any sleep or
feeling safe on the weekends or any party night!
THIS IS WHAT LIFE IS LIKE IN THE AREA: hundreds of people, many with alcohol bottles in hand, dancing to the music from cars parked
illegally, while both men & women urinate, litter, vomit & fight in the street below my window. There's screaming & yelling until
after 5AM on some nights. Vehicles are pulled over all around the neighborhood with built in parties.
Please help!

I am an area resident,
who has seen a lot of the irresponsible patrons from Chromium in the area coming to the club and leaving.
It is a nuisance in the area, and a danger, to keep this club open. The accommodations we have made for this club in particular
as a neighborhood are unreasonable at best. What kind of club deserves to have police barricades at Halsted street because their
patrons are too rowdy? What kind of club draws so much attention from the police that they are set to stand guard outside on alert
to the crowd and any types of bad behaviors that WILL ALWAYS ensue? Would this happen in the Gold Coast? I don’t think so.
It HAS to be shut down...the club and patrons will have to find another way to get their bad behavior out, just please remove it
from my neighborhood. I am sick of feeling like I can’t walk the neighborhood when I attempt to enjoy the weekend in the area.
Large crowds are also starting to linger outside of Lumen nightclub which just opened.

September 20, 2007
That’s good work you are doing so keep it up.
These people are outsiders and when they come into our community they need to
remember that they are guests and have to treat our space appropriately or suffer the consequences. I have to say that just by
reading some of the letters that you have posted, the Chromium owner seems to have a rather large ego and thinks that he is above the law.
Who is he sending to our CAPS (beat 1212) meetings as she just sits in the corner and looks like she’s ready to cry when the club
is mentioned?
Regards,
Local Business Owner
EDITOR'S NOTE:
Regarding the Chromium representative who attends our Beat Meetings; I'm told this young girl is a new Chromium employee. When Chromium
was convicted under CHICAGO'S DRUG AND GANG HOUSE ORDINANCE last year, one of the court mandated edicts REQUIRES Chromium's attendance at monthly
Beat meetings. I suspect that if Chromium actually WAS interested in addressing the redident's problems, the management and/or owners would attend.
Chromium's owners are currently under investigation again for new charges under Chicago's Drug and Gang House Ordinance.

WOW what a drama!
Hey there- I used to live RIGHT THERE...I'm not sure how I ran across your page...
but I used to live in Lake street lofts and moved to California in 2001. Chromium
opened up a month after I moved. WHAT A DRAMA!
You know, I'm an architect and have a nightclub development firm here in California
and I'm so shocked the city has let this go on for such long time. NORMALLY when a
venue becomes such big problem with sooooooo many police calls, they'll just suspend
their liquor license, fine them and revoke it for good and in MOST cases the city will
not allow another drinking establishment open there again.
If this is becoming such a big problem and you like to do something about it, I
recommend you forward your tapes to he Illinois Liq. Com. If you haven't already
done so...keep in mind it's the booze that keep a nightclub or a bar in business.
I'm so shocked seeing those tapes. I'm so glad I moved.
Let me know if you need any help. I look at those tapes and I see so many things these
clubs are doing wrong...it's operators like this that make the life of other decent
entertainment venues a living hell...

From Scott V. Bruner, Director
City of Chicago
Department of Business Affairs & Licensing (DBA)
The City of Chicago Department of Business Affairs and Licensing (DBA) mission is to
empower business growth and success and help businesses act responsibly in an effort
to create economic vitality and vibrant communities for the people of Chicago.
DBA licenses nearly 80,000 businesses in Chicago that support our economy, employ
millions of residents and provides goods and services that support our daily lives.
Ensuring that businesses comply with city policies is something we take very seriously.
And while the majority of Chicago's businesses are responsible and strong anchors in the
community there are a few that are a nuisance in the community.
DBA began receiving citizen complaints about Chromium in August 2005 and community
meetings began in November 2005. Both Chromium and Reunion were involved in these meetings
as the community had concerns and issues that were public nuisance type activity.
DBA enlisted the 18th District CAPS Hospitality Sub-Committee to provide ideas/solutions
to some of the issues. In early January 2006, the community reported that there was some
improvement in the conditions and decided they would hold some informal meetings with
the licensees through the beginning of Summer 2006. After very few incidents occurred
community meetings were not continued as of the Summer 2006.
As of today, Chromium has two pending cases against them, and in the past has had one
violation that resulted in a $500 voluntary fine. We operate under a progressive
disciplinary system. The current license disciplinary cases against Chromium are pending
and a due process hearing will determine whether the violations are sustained or not.
Community participation is key when granting or revoking a business license. When a liquor
license is applied for the community is notified and asked to comment. Once a liquor
license is issued, it generally cannot be revoked without a due process hearing.
The community also plays a key role in helping to ensure that a liquor licensed business
operates in a responsible manner.
Community meetings have been a long standing way for the City to help resolve concerns
and issues between businesses and residents, and most of the time, are successful.
Unfortunately, there are cases where issues are not resolved through community meetings
and when this happened in the past, the community and the City were left without a
mechanism to hold the licensee responsible for negative quality of life complaints.
This is why the City put into effect a new tool, as of April 2007, to hold liquor licensees
responsible who refuse to work with the community to address their concerns. The process
would allow negative quality of life problems to act as a legal basis to potentially
suspend or revoke a single particular liquor license.
This ordinance was not intended to suspend or revoke a liquor license overnight.
It involves a process and gives the business owner several chances to address the concerns
of the community before any disciplinary action may take place. This process requires a
series of community meetings as a first attempt to resolve the issues at hand.
The new, “Public Nuisance Ordinance” , is not an option for the issues raised with Chromium.
This is because Chromium already has pending liquor license violation cases that may result
in license disciplinary action. However, the new ordinance is a key tool that the community
will now have to address similar concerns in the future.
Following the recent incidents at the Chromium nightclub, the owners of Chromium, as well as,
the owners of Shadow Bar, have voluntarily agreed to close their doors for a “cooling period”
of two weeks. The public should know that it is the goal of DBA to continue to work with
the community and the owners of Chromium to help address any negative quality of life issues.

SO LONG, FAREWELL
The valet team at Chromium
would like to extend a good bye to the many customers, promoters,
owners and staff that we worked with for the last several years. I am Erin and my husband
Billy and our friend Andreas did the best we could to maintain a safe, efficient and friendly
way for people to park their cars. In the last year that became increasingly difficult for
us to do. Our revenues were down and the problems were up. We would also like to thank our
valet parking owners Mark and Steve for allowing us to try and make this work. With much
thought and concern we made the decision that this is a good time for us to move on.
Before we do that we would like to set the record straight on some misconceptions about
the Chromium security staff. For the last year and half the security team at Chromium has
been led by the wisdom, kindness, and vast hands-on experience in the industry, of Brian Smith.
This man has dealt with so many obstacles, day in and day out, just to do his job, while
trying to overcome the issues of poor management, and internal power struggles at Chromium.
His team respected and trusted him that was the only reason they came to work. Much has
been written about them not doing their jobs and I guess from the perspective of outsiders
watching there was some confusion about what that job was. This team was told exactly what
they could and could not do. Each of them felt great frustration as they watched things
unfold around them, powerless to do anything about it under the instructions of their superiors.
In closing, I would like to say that the Chromium Security team, did the best job that they
could under the circumstances.
We will miss the good times, all of the employees in both clubs and just want to say thanks,
and best of luck to all.
Erin and Billy

To whom it may concern,
My name is Christopher F.Skilnik, and I work for National Investigators and
Security Agency out of Tinley Park Il. I am contracted out on Friday & Saturday nights by
Shadow Bar Nightclub,
and have been working the block at Lake & Halsted since January of 2006.
It has been a pleasure
to work this detail, and see the progress that has been made in that time. Also,to work with a
pro-active owner in Syed. Together in a joint effort with Chicago P.D.'s 12th dist, and our
staff at Shadow Bar we had truly made a difference.
In light of recent events I would like to take this opportunity to reflect on some of the
problems I have had with Chromium Nightclub, in particular with Tony Perez. I would like to
note a few general instances along with 2 recent incidents..
Aproximately 1 year ago Tony Perez was upset with me for some reason, and informed me that
I was to stay in front of Shadow Bar Nightclub only, and not to walk anywhere in front or
around his nightclub. He used the steel support of the “el” as my border. Even though he did
NOT employ any security for the outside at the time. Mr.Perez also had 2 of his “supposed”
police friends try to tell me where I could and couldn't walk, and who and who I could not
help. After this and many attempts by Mr.Perez to get me fired failed he then agreed to
let me do my thing outside. I was on my own outside and it was over a year that Mr.Perez
had no one outside to help. Although I have NEVER been paid by Chromium Nightclub or Mr.Perez
I have in the interest of the neighborhood, Shadow Bar, and ultimitately my own character
taken it upon myself to control the entire block regardless of whose customer it is causing
the problem.
Recently a local news station came to do a story at Chromium, and suddenly that very
same evening Mr. Perez had posted signs concerning the neighborhood on his building.
Along with hired security for the outside for the first time in over a year. He was trying
to take credit for everything that myself, Shadow Bar, and most importantly CPD had done
over the past year. Nothing could be further from the truth. Each evening Mr.Perez informs
his staff to NOT come outside. Chromium staff NEVER helps dispurse crowds. As soon as patrons
have left his demised premis his staff takes in whatever barricades are outside whther they
are being used to block off the streets or not. Also, they (Chromium) turn off the lights outside
of their building while there is still many patrons outside. This does not make it any safer
as Chromium goes dark, and he refuses to help dispurse crowds, clean up, help with traffic
at the end of the night, or anything at the end of the night. He just pulls his entire staff
inside as soon as possible leaving all the work up to Shadow Bar employees and CPD. Since
the news story Mr.Perez has hired one security to help with the outside. He does a good
job but on Saturday evenings only. Problem is that at the end of the evening he is told to
go watch valet across the street. There is nothing wrong with that, but it does leave the
rest of the block to me, and CPD. I have been outside at Lake & Halsted for almost 2 years now,
and can honestly say that Mr.Perez is not and has not ever been pro-active in fixing any of
the problems or neighborhoods concerns, or being a part of the solution in general in any
way shape or form, and is usually part of the problem instead.
Most recently I will site 2 incidents with Mr.Perez. Number 1 occurred last
Saturday August,11th.
I had just blocked off the street per CPD about a half an hour before closing, and was directing
all eastbound lake street traffic northbound on Green as per CPD. Officer Joe Corbett was blocking
southbound traffic on Green street at Randolf. Chromium security approached me in the strret to
inform me that Mr.Perez was going to take down the barricades, and allow traffic to go eastbound
on lake in front of the clubs to as Tony said, “get these people out of here.” There were apx.
200-300 people in the street. His idea on how to dispurse the crowd was to let cars drive into the
people. I twice had to stop Mr. Perez from doing this. Telling him he would do no such thing.
When Mr.Perez refused to listen I was forced to run to the corner of Rndolf & Green to get officer
Corbett to come back to the block to control Mr. Perez. As usual the Chromium staff did not help
dispurse the crowd.
Number 2 occurred on Friday August 17th the night before the shooting. Aproximately 10 gentlemen
approached the block from the northwest corner of Lake & Halsted.Half of them were drinking alcohol
in plastic cups. When they got in front of the clubs I relieved them of their drinks, and informed
them all to have a good night they were not welcome at the clubs tonight and to come back some
other night when they treated the neighborhood with some more respect. Shadow Bars policy is
strict about people approaching with alcohol. They are not let in. Obiously that is not the case
at Chromium as the promoter “Jeff” allowed them to enter because they had a birthday party with
over 30 people, and he wasn't going to turn away the business. Although I told them not to let
them in they did anyway. This is the same party that was fighting outside in the streets that evening.
If anyone has any questions regarding this or any other issues please feel free to call me.
My cell # is 708-705-2469.
Sincerely,
Christopher F. Skilnik

Shadow Bar
811 W. Lake Street
Chicago IL. 60607
To whom it may concern:
This letter is regarding the incidents that took place on Aug.18 & 19,
2007 on Lake Street. The Shadow Bar security has tried very hard to meet the demands of the
community, to make sure that the patrons of all clubs surrounding Lake Street stay calm and
leave the entire area in a orderly fashion. The Shadow Bar needs assistance from the
surrounding clubs to keep the streets clean of trash and flyers. There is also a need for
the other clubs security to assist the Shadow Bar's staff in keeping the traffic of customers
moving during the course of the night until everyone leaves.
The Chromium Club never has enough security and never screens their patrons. They will let
anyone in off the streets regardless to what issues they've had in the past, they allow patrons
to come in drinking, they allow previous troublemakers from past fights and there's no dress
code. The owners and management of the Chromium will not participate in assisting Shadow Bar’s
security staff or 12th District CPD.
On Aug.18, 2007 Shadow Bar's security staff told Chromium security staff that they shouldn't
allow certain patrons in the club, yet they ignored our suggestion and when the club was
closing the same patrons started a huge mob brawl. The CPD had to be called to take control
of the streets and several patrons were arrested. Shadow Bar security had to assist the CPD
in gaining control. Chromium called their security from the brawl. They went back inside the
club and locked their doors.
On Aug. 19, 2007 the Chromium had one security guard outside trying to control traffic flow
and the patrons. No other security personnel were outside. The patrons were exiting the club
in a very unruly manner from the front and back of the establishment. This is an on going
thing with the Chromium. The club owner Tony Perez was informed three different times by the
CPD not to exceed their capacity. They still allowed patrons in and ignored the warnings.
Due their neglect three fights broke out inside the club, which was carried out into the
streets. The results ended in a homicide at the intersection of Halsted & Lake.
The Shadow Bar is requesting to meet with the liquor commissioner and their legal department
as well as the 12th district CPD Commander Mr. Sodini and alderman Burnett. The Shadow Bars
hopes that by reviewing the Lake & Halsted website video footage from Aug.18 & 19 that the
appropriate disciplinary actions will be taken against any and everybody involved including
the Chromium Night Club.

here and we need to deal with where these people are
coming from. I don't see my neighbors carrying guns and shooting up cars and killing people.
I have witnessed clubs where the place is packed, the people are having fun, the club is making
money AND they have no violence. These clubs must control who they allow in to drink and they
really do have the right to refuse people. It’s all about the $$$.... Don’t give up the fight.
There are people who care as this is our area. The other people are guests and visitors.
We must care because they don't.

DOES HISTORY REPEAT ITSELF? FOR 3 YEARS, WE BELIEVE IT HAS!
· In anticipation of CHROMIUM'S 9/14/04 LICENSE APPEAL HEARING...
the previous weekend was quiet. CHROMIUM showed photos in court.
· In anticipation of CHROMIUM'S 1/11/05 LICENSE APPEAL HEARING Continuance...
the previous weekend was quiet. CHROMIUM showed more photos in court.
· In anticipation of CHROMIUM'S 11/15/05 COMMUNITY CITY HALL MEETING...
the previous weekend was quiet.
FOUR days later over TWO DOZEN CHICAGO POLICE VEHICLES were called to the area to stop SEVERAL
fights among CHROMIUM and REUNION (now SHADOW BAR) patrons.
· In anticipation of the 12/14/05 CITY HALL MEETING with ALL the local club owners
and the Dept. of Business Affairs & Licensing...the previous weekend was quiet.
It appeared things were settling down after the "LAKE STREET LOCKDOWN" was initiated.
· In anticipation of the 1/10/06 Follow-up COMMUNITY CITY HALL MEETING...
the previous weekend was quiet.
Peace didn't last long. After a few small skirmishes, on 1/29/06 a CHROMIUM patron was
arrested after threatening CPD Officers. On 2/3/06 of the following week, CHROMIUM was
convicted under Chicago's Drug and Gang House Ordinance.
Things seemed to be settling again, till several large fights occurred among SHADOW BAR patrons.
Fighting among patrons from both CHROMIUM and SHADOW BAR has continued sporadically, reduced due
to increased monitoring by the 12th District CPD. Yet as recently as 3/10/07, a SHADOW BAR patron
was arrested after (without provocation) he punched a female security guard in the face and BIT
an arresting CPD Officer.
· In anticipation of the 12th District's 5/1/07
Hospitality Subcommittee meeting
...the previous weekend was quiet.
· NOW, A WEEK LATER... In anticipation of press exposure...you can bet your sweet bippee
THIS weekend will be quiet too.
And, of course, Chromium has their new signs. Now THAT'S reassuring.
STARTING TO SEE A PATTERN HERE?
What outrages us, is the fact the nightclubs CAN keep the peace when they're under scrutiny...
which only proves they DO have control over the situation...yet, for the most part, have chosen
NOT to exercise sufficient control. Evidently, it's okeydoke to allow young men and women to beat,
punch and kick each other...as long as no one's watching. It's irresponsible and truly pitiful.
And WHO ends up footing the bill? The surrounding residents, businesses and the 12th District CPD.
On Friday and Saturday nights, when CPD resources are most needed at other 12th District locations,
Pilsen, ABLA Homes, the Near West Side, CPD Officers are compelled to do what the club owners
choose NOT to do.
We're tired of excuses!
VERY tired.
