5/4/07-An INSULT to the neighborhood... After FOX TV Reporters phoned CHROMIUM & SHADOW BAR to schedule an interview for the upcoming 5/9/07 INVESTIGATIVE REPORT,
CHROMIUM posted the signs shown below, just before the TV crew arrived! Since we've NEVER seen ANY signs before now...we question the timing & motivation.

The LAKE STREET NIGHTCLUB OWNERS celebrate Thanksgiving week
by leaving their patron's garbage strewn around our neighborhood.
MONDAY, 9/25/06, 10:00 AM:
The morning after CHROMIUM'S Sunday night event, posters remain around the neighborhood.
As the posters fell off the poles and littered the streets & sidewalks,
cleanup had to be done by neighborhood businesses
and the Chicago Department of Streets & Sanitation.

TO INSURE THE SURROUNDING NEIGHBORHOOD IS CLEANED EACH NIGHT AFTER CLOSING.
Come on guys... put the barricades away at the end of the night!
The Chicago Police are trying to help you out by supplying barricades to direct traffic.
The LEAST you could do is put them away and not leave them blocking the sidewalks!
Neighborhood residents have to navigate around them
for the whole week till you use them again!
(And why are they left across the street on other's property and not YOURS?)
Unclear about the concept of cleaning up the nightclub trash after closing?
Cleaning up DOESN'T mean relocating a pile of garbage to someone else's property!

THE LOCAL STREETS & SIDEWALKS HAVE BEEN CLEAN SINCE MID SEPTEMBER.
VANDALS BREAK OUT LOCAL STOREFRONT WINDOWS
THURSDAY, 6/16/05; 3:00 to 4:00AM
A misguided group of CHROMIUM NITECLUB associates, brings their tools to break the windows. While their female companion observes and others
act as lookouts, someone strikes one window while a second person breaks another. The culprits are seen by a witness as they drive away.
If you look closely...you'll recognize the female from another video linked to this site.
NOTE: THIS WAS THE INCIDENT THAT CAUSED THE EDITOR TO START VIDEOTAPING THE
NIGHTLY INCIDENTS
